FAQ
Is there anything we can to do to prepare for our session?
Yes! I can send you several articles of information, depending on what session you have decided on.
Family sessions are the easiest to prepare for, and mostly involve coordinating outfits and willing attitudes! Dads are especially important in this factor, after doing many photoshoots, dad's attitude can make or break a session! Photos turn out best when dad is relaxed and having a good time! We will also discuss exactly what you want for your session including any specific poses or backgrounds you'd like. I have plenty of outfit ideas and examples if you are having a hard time deciding. I am also working on expanding my client closet for outfit changes and emergencies!
Cake smashes really just require a well rested and hungry toddler. I offer to prepare the whole set up, including the cake! But you are welcome to provide and be as involved (or not) as you like! I will typically always choose a simply prepared and decorated cake with low sugar and light colors (no artificial colors or sweeteners.)
Newborn sessions are typically the hardest to prepare for, we want a well-fed and sleepy baby but sometimes the babies just don't want to sleep and that is okay!
Where are you based and do you travel?
Yes I travel! I serve all of the Pacific Northwest from Portland, Oregon to Seattle, Washington, Idaho and Northwestern Montana.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an email with a link to your own private online gallery with all your photos within 6-8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season.) You can then download all of your photos from your gallery, order prints, quality canvas and more. You may also share your gallery with friends and family on social media.
How many pictures will we receive?
As many as possible. I guarantee at least 20 with every session. Usually you will receive more.
